My research focuses on the influence that close relationships have on health and well-being. Below are some questions that I seek to answer in my work:
- What are important close relationships processes that shape risk and resilience among those experiencing stressful life events, such as caregiving or bereavement?
- How do stressful experiences in close relationships, like being in a negative, conflict-laden marriage, impact both physical and mental health?
- How might "missing out" on positive and/or rewarding experiences be detrimental for well-being?
I welcome any and all opportunities to connect! You can find my contact information here, and the best way to reach me is by email at [email protected].
